IMPORTANT NOTICE:
UIL interscholastic competitions may resume on Thursday May 7, the UIL announced Wednesday. Based on Texas Education Agency and Department of State Health Services recommendations that all schools across the state of Texas reopen, the UIL has relaxed its suspension of all interscholastic competitions, which were originally slated to resume May 11.
The modified softball and baseball playoff schedules follow.

District Certification April 28 May 12*
Bi District Deadline May 12 (1 game or 2 out of 3) May 16 (1 game or 2 out
of 3)
Area Deadline May 16 (1 game or 2 out of 3) May 19 (1 game only)
Regional Quarterfinal Deadline May 19 (1 game only) May 23 (1 game or 2 out
of 3)
Regional Semifinal Deadline May 23 (1 game or 2 out of 3) May 30 (1 game or
2 out of 3)
Regional Final Deadline May 30 (1 game or 2 out of 3) June 6 (1 game or 2 out
of 3)
State Tournament June 4-6 June 10-13
*If tie-breaking games are needed to determine advancement to the playoffs, this deadline could be extended to May 13.
